Command Prompt is a command line interpreter application available in most Windows operating systems. Command Prompt is officially called Windows Command Processor.
Windows Operating Allows you to use Command Prompt normally as a user with less privilages. To use Command Prompt with Administrator Privilages in Windows 8 , follow the steps below :
Click on the Start Screen Icon on the Left Bottom corner of the screen (Dekstop). Clicking will open the Start Screen. Type command prompt or cmd on the screen. It will automatically search for files related to the phrase “cmd” or “Command Prompt“.
On the Search Results, Right Click on the “Command Prompt“.
On the Right Click Menu, Click Run as Administrator. That will push the User Account Control to ask you to allow the changes to be made to the computer.
Click Yes. Your Command Prompt will open with the Administrator Privilages.
